Tuesday 1/10/12 – Original Dramas on CBS Win the Night

Excluding FOX, the major broadcast networks aired their regularly scheduled programming Tuesday night. With a full lineup of new episodes, CBS' NCIS (3.32 A18-49 Live Rating), NCIS: LA (2.80) and Unforgettable (1.92) averaged the largest A18-49 audience last night, despite only the former program reporting greater viewership than a week ago.
After experiencing slight growth from last week's episodes, performances for NBC's The Biggest Loser (1.98) and Parenthood (1.45) were strong enough to land the network in second place with A18-49 broadcast viewers.
Although ABC's 8pm comedy hour declined 19% from a week ago, the network's lineup of Last Man Standing (1.57), Work It (1.28), Celebrity Wife Swap (1.85) and Body of Proof (1.29) averaged a larger A18-49 audience than Univision's Una Familia con Suerte (1.42), La Que No Podia Amar (1.70) and Aqui Y Ahora (1.08).
All ranking ahead of FOX, TBS' block of The Big Bang Theory, averaged the highest cable viewership with A18-49, while BET's fifth season premiere of The Game (2.48) fueled the network to the second largest A18-49 cable audience, despite the sitcom declining 26% from its fourth season debut last year.
Choosing to run with a repeat schedule last night, FOX's combination of Glee (1.01), New Girl (1.21) and Raising Hope (0.98) was only good enough to draw better A18-49 ratings than The CW's special movie airing of Table for Three (0.22).
