Friday 1/13/12 – Univision Top Player Against All Original Line-ups on Broadcast

Up against a full night of originals on broadcast, Univision’s popular line-up of Familia Con Suerte (1.45 A18-49 Live Rating), Que No Podia Amar (1.68) and Rosa De Guadalupe (1.12) brushed past ABC for first place among A18-49 Friday night.

Placing second overall in the demo, ABC’s back-to-back episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition at 8pm (1.31) and 9pm (1.58) experienced modest gains from last week’s performance, while  20/20 (1.47) at 10pm improved a solid 20% with A18-49 viewers.

Original episodes of CBS' A Gifted Man (1.16), CSI: NY (1.48) and Blue Bloods (1.56) landed the network third among A18-49, with only the latter program drawing higher viewership than last week.

Ranking fourth for the night, FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares (1.29) at 8pm grew 12% from its last original on 11/18/11, followed by a new Fringe (0.72), which remained flat from its previous episode back in November.

Falling behind Discovery in fifth place among A18-49 viewers, NBC’s full line-up of Chuck (0.74), Grimm (1.08) and Dateline NBC (1.18) fell slightly from their previous originals.

Placing last across broadcast, new telecasts of CW's Nikita (0.36) and Supernatural (0.49) suffered double-digit percentage declines from their week ago airings.
