NBC revamps its schedule...

NBC is the first network to adjust its fall lineup less than two weeks after announcing its new schedule. Programs were shifted on five nights with the biggest move of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip from Thursday/9PM to Monday/10PM. This move comes as a response to the very competitive lineup with ABC's Grey's Anatomy taking on CBS' CSI at 9PM. With two of television's highest rated dramas facing off, it would be virtually impossible for a new drama to launch in that time period. Deal or No Deal will now run on Thrurdays at 9PM. Medium, originally staled to return in the fall (Mon/10P) is being held back for the first quarter and will join the Sunday night lineup leading out of the Apprentice at 10PM. Kindnapped, another promising new drama has been moved to Wednesaday/10P away from the heat beatween CBS' The Unit and FOX's House, both on Tuesday at 9PM. The solid Law & Order: Criminal Intent will move into its time perioid, which shifts the original series to Friday at 10PM. Crossing Jordan, originally being held back for January will join the schedule on Fridays at 8PM. The Biggest Loser flip-flops with NBC's two new comedies, 20 Good Years and 30 Rock (Wednesday 8-9P).
